But today i am going to share 7 simple tricks to protect plants from heat damage during the hottest part of the summer.
1. Shading
The best way to protect your plants specially rooftop garden, from hot sun is to Use green shade net.
2. Mulching.
The first line of defense against hot weather is Mulching. Adding mulch to your pots will keep the soil and surface roots protected from direct sun exposure.
3. Watering plants in the morning.
During hot summer months, it’s best to water your garden in the early morning before the sun starts beating down.
4. Pot Placement According to its need of sunlight-
Different verieties of plants has their own different sun requirements. So place them according to their sunlight need.
5. Keeping plants in Cluster
Keep the plants in cluster helps to mentain temperature.
6. Mentaining humidity
There are several verities which requires high humidity. When heat waves and hot dry wind hits them they start to degrade and wilt. You can easily Mentain humidity using pabbel tray or humidity tery.
7. Misting And Mentaining humidity
Misting and using humidity trey are the most effective. and easiest ways to keep your plants happy during Summer.
Taking a few precautions this summer will help your garden stay healthy and cool during the most extreme heat.
