Growing radish indoors can be a fun and rewarding experience. Here are some tips to get you started:
Find the right container: Radishes don’t need a lot of space to grow, so you can use a shallow container such as a 6″ deep planter box. Make sure the container has drainage holes to allow excess water to escape.
Use the right soil: Radishes prefer loose, well-draining soil with plenty of organic matter. You can use a potting mix specifically designed for vegetables, or make your own by mixing equal parts coir vermiculite, and compost.
Radishes need at least 6 hours of sunlight per day, so make sure they are placed in a sunny window or under a grow light. I went with Vivosun VS2000 growlight. It’s adjustable and great for growing all types of plants
Radishes need consistent moisture to grow well, so water them regularly but be careful not to overwater. Watering once a day or every other day should be sufficient.
With these tips in mind, you should be able to successfully grow radishes indoors. It’s a fun and easy way to enjoy fresh, homegrown produce all year round!
