Bay leaves are a must-add to plenty of dishes, like soups and preserves, but in the ground the tree can grow to 8m high! Luckily, they are particularly good potted plants and can be kept compact by pruning and harvesting regularly.
Millie has a tree in need of an upgrade to a larger pot. Spring is one of the best times of year to pot up anything, as the plant is in its active growing phase and can recover quickly.
